The idea for LuminAiRe is now quite some time gone and was created out of the desire to consult clients better and to reduce the necessary effort of sampling.

As a lighting design and as a dealer, too, we noticed that the imagination of many clients is insufficient to get to a clear opinion. Bringing on samples is not only expensive and time consuming, sometimes the product itself makes it impossible.
A TRENDSETTING TECHNOLOGY
The idea dates back to the 90s, known today mostly as technology in game-apps. LuminAiRe is among the first fully usable business app using Augmented Reality. It is our platform strategy which guarantees a continuous development allowing our partners to mark the state-of-the-art in this technology.
DEVELOPMENT
The very first prototype created made the potential of this technology obvious. Instantly it became clear that it needs a potent infrastructure, too. For the sheer number of products, we run a suitable cloud database. To optimize the cooperation between client, dealer, and manufacturer we have implemented adapted tools or are under current development of those.

Only the manufacturer is obliged to pay a manageable annual fee to make his products available to the public.

Since late February 2019 you can find LuminAiRe for free download in the Apple Store. The first reactions in the social media confirm that we are giving the business what is needed.

LuminAiRe is a highly effective too for everybody in the lighting business. It can make many samples and several catalogues obsolete. When consulting a client, it can help the dealer, designer, architect to show up either alternatives or related products within the same family of products. And at the end it will ease the decision and speed up the process.
ADAPTED APP FOR A MANUFACTURER
For the independent dealer or designer, it is particularly helpful that LuminAiRe is a platform covering several brands.
We can make it possible for a manufacturer-related consultant to display just his range of products and exclude the others from visibility. In a third step, the manufacturer can also have an app with an individual look without sacrificing the virtues of a platform.

We know how much work it can be to run a database. That is why we usually cover this workload for our clients. We take care about the creation of the necessary models and the data related to them. We want to reduce the workload for our clients to a minimum.
Beyond the app itself we can give statistical information regarding the products to improve the development and sales processes.
LuminAiRe is a success in social media (more than 75.000 views within 3 weeks after launch) and in the professional press, too. We will run suitable measures to keep the interest high and reach out to a wide public.
To match this, we will implement geolocation as a new feature within 2019 to bridge the gap between new interested persons and dealers or manufacturers.
LuminAiRe is reported not only in social media but also in the trade press. In addition, advertising will also be shown. And in 2019, we will implement geolocation to simplify the bridge between prospects and commerce.
